Animal Rescue: Block Puzzle · Effective 18 August 2026 · Last updated 3 September 2026
Animal Rescue: Block Puzzle is operated by Zealux Games (“we”, “us”, “our”). This Privacy Policy explains what information the game collects, how it is used, who it is shared with, and the choices available to you.
The two platforms use different advertising identifiers, different stores and different game services, so the details genuinely differ. Pick the one you play on.
Earlier versions of the game contained no advertising and sent nothing off your device. From the version released on 18 August 2026, the game shows advertisements and uses analytics. It therefore now reads your device’s advertising identifier and sends gameplay events to the third-party providers named in section 3. If you would rather not see ads, the Remove Ads in-app purchase turns them off.
Updated 25 August 2026: the game now offers optional Google Play Games sign-in with leaderboards and achievements. If you choose to sign in, your Play Games display name and your progress are sent to Google and your name and score appear publicly on the leaderboard — see section 1H. Signing in is optional and the game is fully playable without it. This version also adds optional reminder notifications, which are generated and scheduled entirely on your device and send nothing anywhere.
The game has no user accounts and does not require registration or sign-in. We collect the following limited categories.
The only thing you can type into the game is an optional display nickname of up to 12 characters, reached from the leaderboard screen. It is stored on your device and is never transmitted to us or to anyone else. There is no sign-up, no profile, no email address, and no way to send us information from inside the game.
Levels completed, stars, best times, coins, power-ups owned, animals rescued, daily streaks, milestones, and your audio and graphics settings. Your save file stays on your device — there is no cloud save, and we cannot read it.
Separately, a summary of the same activity is sent as analytics events to the providers named in section 3. These events describe what happened in the game — for example that level 42 was failed after 78 seconds, that a booster was used, or that a rewarded ad was watched. They are set out in detail in section 6.
To show ads, the Google AdMob SDK reads your device’s advertising identifier along with technical information about the device and the ad request, and reports which ads were shown and interacted with. Where you have consented to personalised ads, this may be used to select ads based on your interests. See section 5.
Our advertising and analytics providers automatically receive information such as device model and manufacturer, operating-system version, language, coarse region or country derived from your IP address, screen size, app version, network connection type, and the performance tier the game has assigned your device. We do not store your IP address ourselves; it is processed by those providers to deliver the service and to infer coarse region.
When you buy an in-app product, Google Play processes the transaction and returns a purchase confirmation to the game. We do not receive or store payment card numbers, billing addresses, or your Google account credentials.
Google Play collects crash reports, ANR reports and basic performance data from Android devices at the operating-system level and makes aggregated reports available to us. This is a function of the Android platform and Google Play.
If you sign in to Google Play Games — which is optional, and which you can decline — the game sends the following to Google on your behalf, and some of it is shown publicly:
Leaderboard entries are public. Your Play Games display name and your score are visible to other players of this game inside the leaderboard screen and in the Google Play Games app. That is the purpose of a leaderboard, and it is the one place where something you do in this game is visible to other people.
If you never sign in, none of this is sent and no entry is created for you. The game is fully playable signed out; only the global ranking is unavailable. To remove an entry that already exists, or to delete your Play Games data for this game, use the Google Play Games app (Settings → Delete Play Games account data) — that data is held by Google under its own privacy policy, not by us.
The game does not create an account for you, but the services it uses rely on the following identifiers. None of them contains your name or contact details.
These identifiers are not linked by us to your real-world identity, and we make no attempt to combine them with information from any other source in order to identify you.
The game integrates the following third-party components. Each provider processes data under its own privacy policy, linked below.
| Provider | Purpose in this game | Their policy |
|---|---|---|
| Google AdMob | Serves banner, interstitial, rewarded and app-open ads. Reads the advertising ID, measures impressions and clicks, and prevents invalid traffic. | Google Advertising |
| Google UMP | Google’s User Messaging Platform. Presents the consent form in the EEA, the UK and other regions that require one, and stores your choice on the device. | Google Privacy |
| Firebase Analytics | Records gameplay events and app-level properties so we can see where players get stuck and which features are used. | Firebase Privacy |
| GameAnalytics | Game-specific progression and monetisation analytics, used alongside Firebase to tune level difficulty and pacing. | GameAnalytics Privacy |
| Google Play Games Services | Optional sign-in, leaderboards and achievements. Receives your Play Games display name, your campaign progress and your earned achievements, and displays your name and score publicly on the leaderboard. Also used for the in-app review prompt. | Google Privacy |
| Google Play Billing | Processes in-app purchases and restores previously bought products. Integrated through Unity In-App Purchasing. | Google Privacy |
| Unity | The engine the game is built with. Unity Mobile Notifications schedules local reminders on your device; those are generated on the device and are not sent through a server. | Unity Privacy |
| Google Play services | App distribution, updates, and platform-level crash and performance reporting. | Google Privacy |
We do not integrate any attribution or install-tracking SDK beyond what Google Play itself provides, and we use no advertising mediation network other than AdMob. Should that change, this Policy will be updated before the version that changes it is released.
We do not use your information to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects on you.
The game is free to play and is funded by advertising, supplied by Google AdMob.
Ads can be personalised, meaning they are selected using an interest profile that Google and its partners build against your advertising ID, or non-personalised, meaning they are selected using only coarse context such as approximate region and the app you are using. Non-personalised ads still count impressions and clicks and still use the advertising ID for frequency capping and fraud prevention.
In the EEA, the UK, Switzerland and other regions where consent is required, the game presents Google’s consent form before the ad SDK is initialised and before any ad is requested, and honours your answer. If you decline, or if the form cannot be loaded, the game serves non-personalised ads only. Outside those regions, ads may be personalised subject to the controls in your Android settings.
The Remove Ads in-app purchase permanently disables banner, interstitial and app-open ads for that Google account on that game. Rewarded ads remain available if you want them, because they are the ones you choose to watch in exchange for something. Once Remove Ads is active, no ad requests are made for the disabled formats.
Google’s own controls sit outside this game and apply across every app on your device. See Google Ads Settings and how Google uses information from sites and apps that use its services.
We use Firebase Analytics and GameAnalytics to understand how the game is played in aggregate. This is what tells us that a level is failing 80% of players, or that a feature nobody found is worth moving.
Events are game telemetry, not personal detail. Typical examples:
Alongside events, a small set of properties describes the installation so that reports can be segmented: highest level reached, current chapter, a coin balance bucket (a range, never your exact balance), number of animals owned, current daily streak, whether the tutorial is finished, whether Remove Ads has been bought, whether any purchase has ever been made, and the device performance tier.
No event or property contains your name, email address, precise location, your nickname, or the contents of your device. Analytics is keyed to the pseudonymous per-installation identifiers described in section 2, and analytics is not collected at all from our own internal development and test builds.
In-app purchases are optional and are processed by Google Play. Purchase history is associated with your Google account by Google, not by us; we receive only a confirmation sufficient to grant the item and to restore it if you reinstall. Refunds are handled by Google Play under its own policies.
We record that a purchase happened as an analytics event, including the product, price and currency, so that we can understand which products are worth keeping. That record carries no payment details.
Where the UK GDPR, EU GDPR or comparable law applies, we rely on the following legal bases.
Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before you withdrew it. Withdrawing consent for personalised ads does not remove ads; it means you see non-personalised ads instead.
We do not sell your personal information for money. Information is disclosed only as follows.
We do not share your information with data brokers, and we do not publish anything about you.
The game is suitable for a general audience but is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
The game requests no personal details and provides no way for a child — or anyone — to send us information directly. Where a user is identified as being under the age of consent in their region, the ad request is tagged accordingly and only non-personalised ads are served.
If you believe a child has used the game and you would like the associated on-device data removed, clearing the app’s data or uninstalling it deletes it in full, and resets the pseudonymous analytics and advertising identifiers. If you have a concern that goes beyond that, contact us using section 18 and we will act on it.
Our service providers store and process information in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where information is transferred out of the UK or the European Economic Area, that transfer relies on the safeguards operated by the provider concerned, such as Standard Contractual Clauses or an applicable adequacy decision.
Your save file and settings do not leave your device. What crosses borders is the advertising and analytics data described in sections 5 and 6.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal information, to portability, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, contact us using section 18. We will need enough information to locate the relevant records — for a pseudonymous identifier, that usually means the identifier itself.
You also have the right to complain to your data protection authority. In the UK this is the Information Commissioner’s Office.
If you live in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia or another US state with a comparable privacy law, you may have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request its deletion or correction, to obtain a portable copy, to opt out of targeted advertising, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights.
We do not sell personal information for money. We do, however, share your advertising identifier with Google for personalised advertising, which those laws treat as targeted advertising. To opt out:
You may use an authorised agent to make a request on your behalf. We will verify the request to the extent the law requires, and will not charge you for it in ordinary circumstances.
All communication with Google Play, the ad network and the analytics providers uses encrypted HTTPS connections. Your progress data remains in the application’s private storage area, which Android isolates from other applications.
No method of storage or transmission is completely secure. Because your progress is held only on your device, its security is tied to the security of the device itself — a screen lock is the single most effective protection.
com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID) —
declared because the ad SDK reads the advertising identifier. Android grants it automatically;
you control the identifier itself in Android Settings. We do not request location, contacts, camera, microphone, or storage permissions.
We may update this Policy to reflect changes to the game, our practices, or the law. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change. Where a change is material — for example if the game began collecting a new category of information, or added a new advertising or analytics provider — we will update this page before that version is released and describe it in the Google Play release notes.

Animal Rescue: Block Puzzle on the App Store is the same game as the Android release, but the platform underneath it is different, and so are the details that matter for privacy. In particular:
Advertising uses Apple’s IDFA rather than an Android advertising ID, and it is only available if you allow tracking at the App Tracking Transparency prompt. Leaderboards and achievements use Apple Game Center rather than Google Play Games. Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store, not by Google Play. There is no equivalent of Android’s “clear app data” on iOS — deleting the app is what removes your data.
Your save file stays on your device, held in the app’s own storage — there is no cloud save, no iCloud sync, and we cannot read it.
Separately, a summary of the same activity is sent as analytics events to the providers named in section 3. These events describe what happened in the game — for example that level 42 was failed after 78 seconds, that a booster was used, or that a rewarded ad was watched. They are set out in detail in section 6.
To show ads, the Google AdMob SDK receives technical information about your device and the ad request, and reports which ads were shown and interacted with.
Your IDFA is only read if you allow tracking at the App Tracking Transparency prompt described in section 5. If you decline — or if you have turned off “Allow Apps to Request to Track” in iOS Settings — the IDFA is not available to the app at all, and you are shown non-personalised ads.
Our advertising and analytics providers automatically receive information such as device model, iOS version, language, coarse region or country derived from your IP address, screen size, app version, network connection type, and the performance tier the game has assigned your device. We do not store your IP address ourselves; it is processed by those providers to deliver the service and to infer coarse region.
When you buy an in-app product, Apple processes the transaction through the App Store and returns a confirmation to the game. We do not receive or store payment card numbers, billing addresses, or your Apple Account credentials.
If you have chosen to share analytics with app developers in iOS Settings, Apple provides us with aggregated crash and performance reports through App Store Connect. This is a function of the iOS platform and is controlled by you in Settings › Privacy & Security › Analytics & Improvements. We do not operate a separate crash-reporting service.
The game offers Game Center for leaderboards and achievements. Game Center is Apple’s service; the account is created and managed by you in iOS Settings, not by us, and we never see your Apple Account email address. If you are signed in to Game Center:
Leaderboard entries are public to other players of this game. That is the purpose of a leaderboard, and it is the one place where something you do in this game is visible to other people. The game submits only a numeric score; it does not upload your nickname, and any other player names you see on the leaderboard are supplied by Apple.
Game Center is optional. If you are not signed in, nothing is submitted and no entry is created for you. The game is fully playable without it; only the global ranking is unavailable. Your Game Center data is held by Apple under Apple’s privacy policy — you can manage or disable Game Center in Settings › Game Center.
The game does not create an account for you, but the services it uses rely on the following identifiers. None of them contains your name or contact details.
These identifiers are not linked by us to your real-world identity, and we make no attempt to combine them with information from any other source in order to identify you.

| Provider | Purpose in this game | Their policy |
|---|---|---|
| Google AdMob | Serves banner, interstitial, rewarded and app-open ads. Measures impressions and clicks and prevents invalid traffic. Reads the IDFA only where tracking has been allowed. | Google Advertising |
| Google UMP | Google’s User Messaging Platform. Presents the consent form in the EEA, the UK and other regions that require one, and stores your choice on the device. It runs before the ATT prompt.
| Apple Game Center | Optional leaderboards and achievements. Receives your campaign progress and earned achievements, and displays your Apple-supplied nickname and score publicly on the leaderboard. | Apple Privacy |
| Apple App Store & StoreKit | Processes in-app purchases and restores previously bought products. Integrated through Unity In-App Purchasing. | Apple Privacy |
| Apple AppTrackingTransparency | The system framework that presents the tracking permission prompt and records your answer. Your answer is held by iOS, not by us. | Apple Privacy |
| Unity | The engine the game is built with. Unity Mobile Notifications schedules local reminders on your device; those are generated on the device and are not sent through a server. | Unity Privacy |
We do not integrate any attribution or install-tracking SDK, and we use no advertising mediation network other than AdMob. We operate no servers of our own — the game makes no network request to any infrastructure we control, and there is no backend, no cloud save and no remote configuration. Should any of that change, this Policy will be updated before the version that changes it is released.
We do not use your information to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects on you.
The game is free to play and is funded by advertising, supplied by Google AdMob.
On first launch you may see two separate prompts, and they do different things:
Both run before the advertising SDK is initialised and before any ad is requested. The advertising identifier is never read before your answer to the ATT prompt is known.
Declining either prompt does not remove ads and does not restrict the game in any way. It means you are shown non-personalised ads — selected using only coarse context such as approximate region and the app you are using, rather than an interest profile. Non-personalised ads still count impressions and clicks and still use non-tracking identifiers for frequency capping and fraud prevention.
The Remove Ads in-app purchase permanently disables banner, interstitial and app-open ads for your Apple Account in this game. Rewarded ads remain available if you want them, because they are the ones you choose to watch in exchange for something. Once Remove Ads is active, no ad requests are made for the disabled formats.
Apple’s own controls sit outside this game and apply across every app on your device: Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking governs whether apps may ask to track at all, and Settings › Privacy & Security › Apple Advertising governs Apple’s own personalised ads.
We use Firebase Analytics and GameAnalytics to understand how the game is played in aggregate. This is what tells us that a level is failing 80% of players, or that a feature nobody found is worth moving.

Purchase history is associated with your Apple Account by Apple, not by us; we receive only a confirmation sufficient to grant the item and to restore it if you reinstall. Refunds are handled by Apple under its own policies.
Two products are one-time unlocks — Remove Ads and a storage upgrade — and can be recovered on a new device with Restore Purchases, available from the Settings screen, the shop and the No Ads screen without buying anything. Coins are consumable and are spent in play, so they are not restored.
We record that a purchase happened as an analytics event, including the product, price and currency, so that we can understand which products are worth keeping. That record carries no payment details.
